Helf (Birmingham, Alabama), born in Waukesha, Wisconsin, who passed away on March 4, 2023, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Helf and Hildegard Helf. He is survived by: his wife Ellen Helf; and his sons, John Helf and Jacob Helf.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Homewood City Schools Foundation, who always supported him throughout his time as a teacher.
