He is survived by: his spouse Avis Legrone; his daughters, April Holcomb (Allen) and Dawn Sparks; his grandsons, Will Holcomb (Allison) and Ben Holcomb (Holly); his great grandchildren, Mabri Anne, Weiss, Greer, Silas, Jane and Boone Holcomb; and his sister Nelda Sparks.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Southern Heritage Funeral Home (475 Cahaba Valley Rd, Pelham, AL 35124). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
