He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Dixon and Susie Dixon; his wife Dorothy Hinton Dixon; and his brother Charles Anthony Dixon. He is survived by: his children, Willie Dixon (Angela), Terry Hinton (Shevelyn), Dorothy Shree Dixon and Tamera Dixon; and his siblings, Patricia Ann Dixon Thomas, Cynthia Y. Dixon Johnson, Shirley Dixon Coleman, Darlene Dixon Thomas, Suzzette Foster Craig and Roderick Foster of Birmingham Alabama. He is also survived by 11 Grandchildren.
A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 at 1:15 PM at the Smith & Gaston Funeral Services (102 6th Ave SW, Birmingham, AL 35211).
