He was predeceased by: his parents, James William and Edna Smith McCormick. He is survived by: his wife Jeannie Moon McCormick of Black, AL; his children, Amber Hinesley (Audie) of Black, AL, Allex Varnum (Brandon) of Florala, AL, Airen Armstrong (Andrew) of Black, AL and Michael McCormick of Black, AL; and his siblings, Dolly McCormick of DeFuniak Springs, FL, Willard McCormick of DeFuniak Springs, FL and Sandy McCormick of Level Plains, AL.. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren.
The family requested in lieu of flowers that those attending the service may bring soft backed Bibles to further his work in jail ministry within the Geneva County Jail.
