She was predeceased by : her father Johnny Johns; her husband Sonny Wilson; her children, Wayne Wilson and Anita Cornelius; her granddaughter Amy Thompson; and her siblings, Wilburn Johns, Alton Johns, Lawrence Johns, Elmo Johns, Jimmy Johns, Laura Cochran and Alene Bradford.

She is survived by : her son Ken Wilson (Rose); her daughter-in-law Lisa Wilson; her grandchildren, Chris Wilson, Adam Cornelius, Brandy Carnes, Shawn Hagen and Christy Gillie; and her sisters, Imogene Whitehead and Geraldine Fallin. She is also survived by thirteen great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren.
