He was predeceased by: his wife Pat Battles; his parents, Gramling Battles and Ola Mae Battles; and his siblings, Larry Battles and Barbara Battles.
He is survived by: his daughters, Dena Goodman (Dakota) and Michelle Roberts (Glenn); his grandchildren, Caleb Goodman, Alec Goodman, Ashley Wesley and Johnathon Wesley; and his siblings, Charlie Battles (Doris), Francis Payne, Judy Reynolds and Arnold Battles. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, May 25th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Etowah Memorial Chapel (12600 US-431, Sardis City, AL 35956). A funeral service was held on Sunday, May 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
