He is survived by : his children, Donald Elton Noel Jr. and Mandaine Noel Miller; his grandsons, Marshall and Dane Miller; and his siblings, Patricia Noel Foster and Gerald Noel.

“I would like to offer my sincere condolences for the loss of your dad and brother. I considered Don to be one of my best friends in high school. Don was my witness (best man) when I married. I was his best man when he and Gail married. I always considered Don and Gail to be lifelong friends. Although time and distance separated us for most of our lives, we always picked back up at reunions and occasionally by phone. I have many memories of Don that I remember fondly. Ken Chambers”
