He was predeceased by: his parents, Lonnie Whitt and Annie Whitt; and his siblings, Lonnie Whitt Jr., Nell Scroggs, Edna Johnson, Ray Whitt, Bobby Whitt and Jane Martin.
He is survived by: his children, Kelly Bryan and Butch Whitt (Deanie); his grandchildren, Adrian Gaskin (Bradley) and Sara Bryan; his great grandchildren, Madi Gaskin and Brylan Whisenant; his stepdaughters, Carla Malone (Johnny) and Sonnita Pullen; his stepgrandchildren, Carson Traylor, Jake Traylor and Logan Winkles; and his siblings, Lola Alexander of Gadsden, Elsie Taulton of Maryland, Delcie Love of Tyler, AL, Mabel Worley of Gadsden and Michael Summerville of South Carolina.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Etowah Memorial Chapel (12600 US-431, Sardis City, AL 35956). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
