He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Mardis; his son Glen Mardis; his parents, John Henry and Cora Mardis; and his father-in-law Willie Sims.
He is survived by: his sons, John Mardis (Melissa), Randy Mardis (Joy) and Andy Mardis (Shay); his grandchildren, Tyler Mardis (Jen), Lacey Guin (Joey) and Jake Mardis; his great grandchildren, Bailey, Brooks Mardis, Mason and Webb Guin; and his sisters-in-law, Judy Wofford (James) and Nita Sims. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
