He was predeceased by : his son Stephen Noel; his parents, Elton Noel and Marion Noel; and his brothers, Don and Richard Noel.

He is survived by : his wife Peggy Noel; his daughters, Dawn Compton and Jeri Long; his daughter-in-law Regan Noel; his grandchildren, Anna Clair Szumlanski (Cullyn), Luke Compton (Lauren), Caitlin Barkley (John), Jackson Long, Cassidy Noel and Chloe Noel; his great grandchildren, Decker Barkley, Selah Szumlanski, Ellie Szumlanski and Killian Szumlanski; and his sister Patricia Noel Foster. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
