It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Raymond Clanton of Boaz, Alabama, who passed away on June 10, 2020, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Garlen Clanton and Margie Clanton; and his grandson Steven Ray Woods. He is survived by : his wife Kathy Clanton; his daughters, Kimberly Woods (Robert) and Samantha Stevens (Kevin); his stepsons, Michael Harrell (Tammy) and Brian Harrell (Jessie); and his siblings, Darlene Mann, Terri Horton (Randall), Travis, Wayne and Rickey Clanton. He is also survived by six grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren.
