She was predeceased by : her parents, Elmer Scott and Doris Woodham Scott; and her sister Brenda Jones. She is survived by : her husband Larry Brooks of Boaz; her children, Shane (Trisha Brooks), Amanda (Carlo Wills) of Albertville and Jana Walker of Albertville; and her siblings, Mark Scott of Boaz and Shelia Spurling of Albertville. She is also survived by 5 Granddaughters, 2 Great Grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to Shepherd's Cove Hospice.
