She was predeceased by : her husband Glenn Carter; her parents, Leonard Leahey and Johnnie Hampton Leahey; her sister Margie Leahey; and her sisters-in-law, Becky Leahey and Brenda Leahey.

She is survived by : her siblings, Linda Loveless (Charlie), Richard Leahey and Darrell Leahey. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
