He is survived by: his children, David (Vicki Dodd), Kevin (Chantelle Dodd) and Karen; his son-in-law Richard Grissinger of Florida; his wife Iris Dodd; and his siblings, Edward Dodd, Wayne Dodd, J. P. Dodd, Audrey Bales, Annis Nelson, Eleanor Green, Kathlene Morgan and Iris Steed.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Mcrae Funeral Home (99 Glenda Dr, Boaz, AL 35957). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the McRae Chapel (99 Glenda Dr, Boaz, AL 35957). A burial will be held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 at the Hillcrest Cemetery.
