He was predeceased by : his parents, G. W. Dendy and Ruby Hill Dendy; and his siblings, William Lawrence Dendy and Janette Perryman. He is survived by : his daughters, Angela Dendy Blair (Matthew) of Cullman and Ruby Mae Dendy of Boaz; his grandchildren, Bailee Clark, Brilee Clark and Karlie Clark; his sister Shirley Jourdon; and his niece Kathy Burnhardt of Florida.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to the New Hope Cemetery fund.
