He is survived by: his children, Jay Stanfield of Boaz and Stephanie; his son-in-law Bradley Belflower of Georgia; his grandson Timothy Belflower; his stepdaughter Christin (Scott Campbell); his stepgrandchildren, Brie Jeffreys, Hunter Campbell and Grayson Campbell; his wife Joan Stanfield; his grandson Samuel Belflower; and his sisters, Peggy Sue Stanfield, Billie Joyce Scogins and Martha Nan Snead.

A graveside service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Hillcrest Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
