Linda Johnson Burns Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Linda Johnson Burns (Boaz, Alabama), who passed away on March 11, 2026 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Hoyt Johnson and Cora Mae Hill Johnson; and her siblings, Martha Golden (Danny), Bobbie Cruse (Wart) and James Hansel Johnson.

She is survived by: her husband Hollis Burns; her sons, Nathan Burns (Laurel) and Shannon Burns (Jennifer); and her grandchildren, Wesley Burns (Carly), Sarah-Anne Morton (Bailey), Taylor Burns (McKenna), Sadie Burns (Christian Collins) and Tristen Burns. She is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

In lieu of flowers, food, and money, the family asks for donations to be made to Shepherd's Cove Hospice.
