Though Richard may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Richard leaves behind.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Buea Lee and Beatrice Dobbins Lee. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Smith Lee of Boaz; his son Chris Lee of Glencoe; his stepchildren, Mark Richey of Trussville and Sheila Simmons of Rainsville; and his siblings, Ronald Lee of Boaz and Janet Roberts of Boaz. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
