He is survived by: his wife Kathy Smith; his children, Ericka Smith and Dusten Light; his stepchildren, Stacy Kilgore and Pam Kilgore; his grandchildren, Colby, Carson Price, Savannah, Bree and Ariana Light; and his siblings, Mike, Bill Hamilton, Mark Smith and Sheila Smith Blackwell.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 28th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Julia Street Memorial CMC Church (302 Thomas Ave, Boaz, AL 35957). A funeral service was held on Sunday, September 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
