He is survived by: his wife Peggy Ashley Hardin; his children, Michelle Murphy (Shane) and Brad Hardin (Kenya); his grandchildren, Ty Murphy, Lauren Murphy and Jacquelyn Hardin; his siblings, Pam Smith (Rickey) and Jimmy Hardin; his niece Nicole Benson (Adam); his great-nephew Tanner Lohr; his stepsiblings, Patti Whitaker (Sam), Ronald Bevel (Sharon), Jerry Shores (Vickie) and Bobby Shores; and his close friends, John and Angela Pinkerton.
