He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Pullen and Opal Haynie Pullen; his wife Shirley Peters Pullen; and his sisters, Shirley Holcomb, Helen Haynes and Rita Gail Young.

He is survived by: his sons, Johnny Pullen, Chris (Carol Pullen) and Brian (Cindy Pullen); his grandchildren, Brianna Scott (Will), Sammy Pullen (Ashlyn), Kyle Pullen (Brittni), Trevor Pullen, Lucas and Jacob Pullen; his great grandchildren, Baker and Miles Scott; and his sisters, Joan Kilpatrick and Peggy (Ray Alexander).
