With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Vicki Mari Payne of Boaz, Alabama, who passed away on May 31, 2025 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Vicki Mari may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Vicki Mari touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Benny Strawn and Sara Bailey Strawn; and her sister Cissi Snow. She is survived by: her husband Jeff Payne; her children, Kristin Payne (Tom Kwintiuk) and Jesse Payne (Jenna); her sister Carol Anderson; and her grandchildren, Shilo Payne, Ezra Payne, Naomi Payne and Eliza Payne.
