He is survived by: his wife Judy Broderway Shirley; his children, Jeff Shirley (Melissa) and Sharon Shirley Compton (Michael); his grandchildren, Jonathan Shirley (Lauren), Brandon Horn, Chris Shirley (Kayla), Alina Shirley, Jordan Hosek, Ashley McAvinew (Shane) and Kristin Salter (Ben); and his great grandchildren, Lavon Salter, Ella Hosek, Elijah Shirley, Cayde Shirley, Teagan Shirley and Bre'Aysiah Gullette. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
