He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Rye Mixon; his children, Kyle Mixon (Stacey) of Bremen and Amy Morgan (Andrew) of Oak Ridge, Tennessee.; his grandchildren, Austin Morgan (Kari) of Ankara, Aaron Morgan of Oak Ridge and Hannah Mixon of Fairhope, Alabama.; his stepgrandchildren, Brandon Wencil (Marian) of Harvest, Heather Poschel (Tyler) of Columbia and David Wencil (Jessie) of Huntsville, Alabama.; his great grandchildren, Charlotte Morgan and John Morgan; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Mason Poschel, Joel Poschel, Neil Wencil, Stevie Wencil and Leela Wencil; his brother Billy Ray Mixon of Birmingham, Alabama.; his nephew Billy Ray Mixon, Jr.; and his close friends, Danny and Cindy Otts of Crews, Alabama..
