He is survived by: his mother Kathy Profitt (Neal); his wife Kayla Thomas; his children, Kira Shirley and Bazil Shirley; his siblings, Valarie Johnson (Glendal), Shawnua Jennings (Tyler), Lindsey Fritz (Payne) and Hannah Stewart; and his aunts, Judy Lay (Hudson) and Pearl Pickett. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 6th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Hanceville Funeral Home (100 Michelle St NW, Hanceville, AL 35077). A funeral service was held on Sunday, September 6th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
