It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carlton Franklin Posey of Brent, Alabama, born in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, who passed away on April 10, 2023, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, William Allen Posey, Sr. and Etta Mae Creel Posey; his wife Beth Posey; and his sister Ann Murphy. He is survived by : his children, Carlton F. Posey, Jr. of Brent and Meg Cottingham (Joshua) of Brent; his grandsons, Hal and Coleman Cottingham of Brent; his close friend Linda Mobley of Brent; his children, Bryan Mobley (Carla) of Centreville, Keith Mobley of Jemison, Brittany Averette of Brent and Mattie Horton of Jemison; and his brother-in-law Bill Murphy of Centreville.
