He was predeceased by : his parents, Albert Watkins and Veller Watkins; and his siblings, Cliff Watkins, Olan Watkins, Junior Watkins and Baby Judy Watkins.
He is survived by : his wife Mattie Lee Watkins; his children, Larry Watkins (Tonya), Rickey Watkins (Brenda), Joyce Breland (Marvin) and Gail Sutton (Carl); and his siblings, Carl Watkins, Jimmy Watkins, Geneva Barnett, Earline Murphy, Christine Crawford and Dean Huey. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 35 great grandchildren.
