He was predeceased by : his parents, Reverend George Paul and Minnie Sue Kornegay; his siblings, Gloria, Arthur Paul, George Jr., Earvin and Joel; and his nephew Brian Keith.

He is survived by : his spouse Brenda Jean Lockett; his children, Kenderick Ray Lockett (FL) and Kandace Katrice (Hoover); his grandchildren, Adrease, Marquez and Kentrell; and his siblings, Dorothy (Chicago), Annie (Centreville), Donnie (Charles), Montevallo, Donald Brent (Dorothy) and Ronnie. He is also survived by nieces, great nieces, nephews, great nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
