He was predeceased by : his father John Dewey; and his sister Bobbie Rae McKinley (Bill). He is survived by : his daughters, Lisa Buckman (Jason) of Phenix City, AL and Amy Elam (Brett) of Brent, AL; his sisters, Marilyn Jeffreys of Athens, AL and Rhonda Brown (Jerry) of Athens, AL; and his grandchildren, Chase McElroy of Brent, AL. and Bella Church of Brent, AL..
