She was predeceased by: her parents, J. C. Lay and Semmie Heath Lay (Melvin Dwight "Buster"); her son Jeffrey Lynnwood "Jeff" Maloy; and her brothers, Charles Lay and John P Lay.
She is survived by: her son Dwight Maloy (Alexis) of Brewton; and her grandson Joshua Maloy (Heather) of East Brewton.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 29th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the North Brewton Baptist Church (566 Old Castleberry Rd, Brewton, AL 36426). A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
