He was predeceased by: his parents, Loyd T. Shell and Fanny Hall Shell; and his brother Huston Shell. He is survived by: his wife Marguerite Smith Shell of Brewton; his children, Jud Shell of Brewton, Dawn Matwichuk (Corwin) of Seattle, WA and Dana Johnson (Jimmy) of Helena, AL; his grandsons, Owen Johnson of Troy, Cole Matwichuk of Seattle and Luke Matwichuk of Seattle; his siblings, Truss Shell (Audrey) of Jay, Luellen Cooley of Jay and Gail Davis of Pensacola; and his sister-in-law Gwen Shell of Jay.
Pallbearers: Robby Shell, Stephen Shell, Matthew Cooley, Ashton Shell, Chase Shell, Chance Shell It is requested that memorial contributions in lieu of flowers be made to the Ascension St. Vincent's Hospital NICU in Birmingham or Children's Hospital of Alabama in Birmingham.
