She was predeceased by: her parents, Clayton Swindle and Nellie Swindle; and her grandson Christopher Dolbear. She is survived by: her husband Al Jokela; her daughters, Vangie Tatum (Alec) and Aegina Jokela (Nathan McCann); her sister Kathy Caine (Ken); her nieces and nephews, Trey Davis, Brittany Davis and Triniti Frye (Justin); her great-nephew Maverick; her great-niece Lillian; her brother-in-law Bill Jokela (Jane Hughes); and her nephews, Bill (Saori) and Kevin.

Since Carol loved animals, in lieu of flowers, the family wishes you to make a donation in her name to your favorite animal charity.
