With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Cindy Gayle Pugh Anthony of Brewton, Alabama, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 20, 2025 at the age of 82. She was predeceased by: her parents, Mack O'Neal and Arnie Pugh; her husband Marion F. Anthony (Bud); her children, Mickey Franklin Anthony, Nathaniel M. Anthony and Angela Anthony Jaro; and her grandchildren, Jessica G. Jaro and Rickey F. Anthony.
She is survived by: her son Steven Anthony of Camden, AL; her daughters-in-law, Saundra Anthony and Darlene Anthony; her sisters, Vera Richards of Auburndale, FL and Mary Merritt of Castleberry, AL; and her grandchildren, Cody Anthony (Amanda) of Robertsdale, AL, Lauren Boatwright (Zac) of Brewton, AL, Ashley Ellis (Ryan) of Brewton, AL, Tiffany D. Anthony of Brewton, AL, Blake Anthony (Kristen) of Billings, MT, Savannah Chatman (Marc) of Andalusia, AL and Will Anthony of Tennessee. She is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great- grandchild, and numerous nieces, nephews, and close friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Williams Memorial Funeral Home (2353 South Blvd, Brewton, AL 36426). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
