He is survived by: his children, Burt and Jamie (Shanatha); his wife Susan; his son Burton Smith (Ryan); his grandsons, Jackson, Ryland and Benjamin; his sisters, Sonja Allen (Mike) and Tammy Wilkerson (Tom); and his nieces and nephews, Brandon Smith (Deadria), John Buck Smith, Rachel Spicer (David) and Brandy Ray (Matt).
