He was predeceased by: his mother Katie Turner; and his siblings, James Albert Turner, Charles Billy Turner, T. J. Turner, Katherine Welch and Margaret Helen Turner.
He is survived by: his parent Bert Turner; his wife Ouida Sheffield Turner; his children, Celeste Gilbreath (Eric) of Pensacola, Pamela Thompson (Tommy) of Flomaton, Teresa Armstrong (Richard) of Flomaton and Edward Clayton Turner (Faith) of Flomaton; and his brother Melvin Lee "Cowboy" Turner. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren; 10 great- grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home (2353 South Blvd, Brewton, AL 36426). A graveside service was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Pleasant Home Cemetery.
