He was predeceased by: his parents, Hillary Lee and Myrtle Floyd Byrd; and his son Brian Rodgers. He is survived by: his wife Jacque L. Byrd of Brewton; his children, Lee Rodgers (Sherri) of Nicholson and Jennifer Newman (Tony) of Brewton; his daughter-in-law Diane Rodgers of Chelsea, Ala; and his grandchildren, Taylor Rodgers of Nicholson, Jordan Rodgers-Garretson (Sam) of Nicholson and Aiden Rodgers of Chelsea, Alabama..

Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Craver's Funeral Home Inc. (44 Foshee Rd, Brewton, AL 36426). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Craver's Funeral Home (44 Foshee Rd, Brewton, AL 36426).
