He was predeceased by: his parents, Byrd Selman and Rhoda Strength Selman; and his siblings, Eunice Faircloth, Cecil Selman, Eula Gregory, Betty Hammac, Huey Lee Selman, Mary Powell and Faye Bowdoin.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Palmer Selman; his daughters, Cindy Selman Lancaster (John) of Keego and Lisa Selman Inglis (Scott) of Fernandina Beach, FL.; his grandchildren, Megan Lancaster Pettis (Michael) of Goodwater, AL. and Ashley Lancaster Warren (Jared) of Columbus, GA.; and his great grandchildren, Eden Pettis, Lula Pettis and Wyatt.
