We announce the death of Gary Hicks of Bridgeport, Alabama, who passed away on October 12, 2026. He was predeceased by: his parents, David Lee and Madge Hicks; and his son Joe Hicks. He is survived by: his wife Debra Hicks; his sons, Christopher Hicks (Johnifer) and David Hicks (Tiffany); his grandchildren, Jacob Hicks, Julianne Hicks, Sean Moyers, Morgan Banghart, Kyler Settles, Brenna Hicks, John Michael King (Molly) and Rachael King; and his siblings, Robileen Jenkins and P. W. McClure.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 19th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Valley Funeral Home - Stevenson (1214 Kentucky Ave, Stevenson, AL 35772). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 19th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
