He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Payne and Clara Payne; and his brother Charles Payne. He is survived by: his wife Fay Payne; his daughters, Lori Frost (Chris) and Leah Guess (Clay); his grandchildren, Logan Cunningham (Kyndall), Holli Guess and Chloe Cunningham; and his brother Gary Payne (Mary Faye).
