She was predeceased by: her parents, Irene Martin Burnett and Onnie Delay Carden; her son Joseph "Joey" Lawrence; and her brothers, Jerwell Carden and Wiley Burnett.

She is survived by: her children, Mikey Lawrence (Jody), Tracy Coleman and Kim Thompson (Wendell); her grandchildren, Shawn Lawrence, Shane Lawrence, Alex Coleman, Dakota Coleman, Joseph Lawrence, Alexis Thompson and Tristen Thompson; and her siblings, Janice Burt (Ray), Gloria Merritt, Jimmy Carden, Jackie Burnett, Ronny Burnett, John Burnett and Donny Burnett. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Ashby Cemetery.
