He was predeceased by: his parents, George W. "Bill" Hicks and Dorothy Littlefield Hicks; his siblings, Nancy Hicks and Billy Hicks; and his siblings-in-law, David Kasterke, Mike LeBlanc, Sharon Hicks and Paula Rishel.
He is survived by: his wife Beverly Hicks; his children, George Hicks (April) and Mary Hughes (Bryan); his grandchildren, Emily Hicks, Sarah Hicks, Bradley Hicks, Eleanor Hughes and Henry Hughes; his sisters, Marsha Kasterke, Judy Hawkins (Gary), Janet Barrow (Billy) and Rebecca Milroy (Curt); and his siblings-in-law, Donna LeBlanc and Edward Keegan. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
