She was predeceased by : her parents, Francis Clayton and Anna Marie Fedie Stai; her husband Melvin Smith, Sr.; her daughter Theresa Bodiford; and her grandchildren, Gabriel Haney and Melanie Bodiford.
She is survived by : her children, Donna Lyons of Rock Island, IL, Ann Allen of San Bernardino, CA, Lorraine "June" Cagle of Brilliant, AL, Melvin Smith, Jr. of Moline, IL and Frances "Marty" Smith of Moline, IL. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
