He was predeceased by : his parents, Maxwell Gibbs and Mary Frances Moore Gibbs; and his brother Richard Maxwell Gibbs. He is survived by : his sister Gracie (Wendell Jan Franks); his sister-in-law Gwen Gibbs; his nieces and nephews, Wendell Harrison Franks, Leslie Paige Botzer (Andrew), Jeremy Richard Gibbs (Holly), Jillian Carol Cox (Jay) and Joseph Wendell Gibbs (Ashley); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Taegan, Tinsley Franks, Gracen, Henderson Smith, Jala Kate, Maxwell Gibbs, Zoey, Maverick Cox, Grey, Jack Gibbs, Siena, Sabrina and Sophia Botzer. He is also survived by several cousins, and a multitude of friends, neighbors.
