He was predeceased by : his parents, James Shehan and Vernie Shehan (Perdue); his wife Carol Burke; and his nephew Brandon Shehan. He is survived by : his sons, Marc Shehan (Cassie) of Cullman, James Shehan (Hannah) of Sylacauga and Cody Shehan of Nauvoo, Alabama; his brothers, Jim Shehan (Bonnie) of Ediburgh, IN, Terry Shehan (Susan Knox) of Taylorsville, IN, Gary Shehan (Cathy) of Columbus and Dave Shehan (Christina) of Columbus; and his uncle Jerry Perdue. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
