He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerry Leonard Gibbs Sr. and Kathryn Pruett Gibbs; and his brother Jerry Leonard Gibbs Jr. (Len). He is survived by: his wife Teresa Wilks Gibbs; his children, Joy Elizabeth Gibbs and Brent Lee Gibbs; his brother Cary Pruett Gibbs (Diane); his sister-in-law Athelia Gibbs; and his grandchildren, Madison Gibbs, Gavin Green and Crosslee Bevill. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
