He was predeceased by: his parents, William F. and Mary G. Furniss (Donovan) of Winthrop, Massachusetts.; and his brothers-in-law, Richard Belcher (Isabel) and David Belcher (Carol). He is survived by: his wife Joy L. Furniss (Belcher); his children, Shawn M. Furniss (Natasha), Brian R. Furniss (Nicole) and Heather J. Dragash (John); his grandchildren, Noah, Caleb, Gabriel Dragash, Fiona and Amber Furniss; his siblings, William F. Furniss Jr. and Carol A. Furniss; his sister-in-law Jean Scarpa (Frank); and his cousin Katherine M. Furniss. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Ernest P. Caggiano & Son Funeral Home (147 Winthrop St, Winthrop, MA 02152).
