She was predeceased by : her father Horace Oyd; and her husband Joseph Franklin Walters, Jr.. She is survived by : her mother Nannie Elizabeth Berry; her friend Rachel Hawkins; her children, Elizabeth Hudson (Paul), Ellen Sanders (Steve) and Tripp Walters; her grandchildren, Will Hudson (Christina), Layton Sanders (Arden), Libby Eubanks (Jacob), Luke Sanders, Chandler Hudson (Molly Kate), Wyatt Walters and Casey Walters (Kelly); her great grandchildren, Anna Hudson, Allie Sanders, Caroline Hudson, Jaylyn Walters, Davis Sanders, Rivers Sanders, Webb Eubanks, Katherine Eubanks, Lydia Walters and Hayes Hudson; and her sister Rosa Ellen Cornell.
