She was predeceased by: her husband Ray; her parents, Calvin Brown and Cora Brown; and her siblings, Era Harden, Estelle McVay, Mamie Price, Agnes Green, Bradley Brown and Little Jack Brown.
She is survived by: her daughters, Bobbie Jean Ellsworth (Bobby Joe) and Linda Jones (Donny); her grandchildren, Roxanne Cottle (Wade), Ronnie Ellsworth, Jenny Wesley (Heath) and Barry Leatherwood (Leslie); her great grandchildren, Hayden Olive (Mary Kate), Hayley Scroggins (Will), Taylor Anne Cottle, Sam Cottle, Annabelle Wesley, Gradyn Wesley, Eli Wesley, Levi Wesley, Abby Leatherwood, Preston Leatherwood and Isaac Leatherwood; her great great grandchildren, Pike Scroggins and Wyatt Olive; and her brother Bryant Brown (Charlotte).
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Dillard Funeral Home of Brundidge (6549 US-231, Brundidge, AL 36010). A funeral service was held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
The family requests that instead of flowers, donations be made to Bethel Baptist Church in Banks, AL.
