He is survived by: his wife Betty Joan Carter; his children, Chad Carter (Christy), Renee Carter and Andy Carter; his grandsons, Joshua Carter (Katie), Luke Carter (Hayley), Daniel Carter (Gracen) and Noah Carter; his great grandchildren, Milo Carter, Elisa Carter, Bonnie Carter, Zane Carter and Elijah Carter; and his sister Meritta Findley.
