She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Grissett and Mary Grissett; and her sisters, Sarah McIntosh, Effie Russell and Diane Stokes.
She is survived by: her husband Jessie Taylor; her children, Cindy Johnson (Richard) and Jessie "James" Taylor Jr.; her grandson Matthew Reeves; and her stepgranddaughters, Katherine Ingalls (Matthew) and Kelly Dady (Will). She is also survived by two step-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins.
